Jammie Jams

It's Thursday at 2pm.  I'm in my jammies.  With a cat on my lap.  I love my life :-)
No, I did not quit my job and become a cat lady, I swear.  I just happen to have an awesome boss who allows me to work from home when the situation merits it....like writing two conference proposals, updating website resources, and revising kinship content.  All of which can be done sans work clothes, without showering, and a homemade lunch to boot.  Don't worry, I'm not taking pictures of my sorry lookin' self...I love you all too much!
So since I am without human contact today, I don't have much to offer, but you all know that never stops me from blogging, right?  How bout a few lovin' life updates for you?  Yes?  Well, here goes....
First, in the interest of my one hour challenge post, I feel the need to share with you my one hour today:  cycling (indoor trainer power workout) and Just Dance wii game with the hubster (on tap for this PM).  Great workout, time with my sweetie.  Double win!  What are you doing to get your hour in?

Secondly....books.  I've gotten into the library geek mode again (love it) and have read a few winners.  For all you literary types out there (Hey, I like to pretend that somewhat describes me!) check out these new (to me) books if you need material:
* The Art of Racing in the Rain (Garth Stein).  Not what I as picturing, but amazing nonetheless.
* One Day (David Nicholls) A bit sophomoric, but entertaining and relateable- and apparently being made into a movie??
* The Pilot's Wife (Anita Shreve) Not a new book, but I'd missed it somehow....really intriguing.
* Aleph (Paulo Coelho).  After reading the Alchemist, I fell in love with this author.  Always a thought provoking read.

Ready anything good lately?  I'm always up for suggestions!!
Break over...time to get back to work.  My supervisor says so.
Slavedriver.
